TCU Baseball played its final game against the New Haven Chargers on Sunday, March 1, at Lupton Stadium, securing a 20–1 victory and a series sweep.
The Horned Frogs came out firing, scoring eight runs in the first inning alone.
The Chargers scored their first and only run in the top of the inning and were held scoreless for the remaining eight by the TCU pitching staff.
Although it was a high-scoring performance for the Frogs, neither team recorded a home run. TCU capitalized on timely hitting and aggressive base running throughout the game.
The Horned Frogs stole 20 bases in the series, several of which came on double steals. They also tallied 42 RBIs across the series, with 19 coming in Sunday’s game alone.

Third baseman Jack Bell had a strong weekend both at the plate and defensively, delivering in crucial moments on both sides of the ball.
Second baseman Cole Cramer went three-for-three in Sunday’s game, recording a single in the first inning and two more singles in the fifth.
Bell, along with shortstop Preston Gamster, right fielder Sawyer Strosnider, catcher Nolan Traeger, and second baseman Kyuss Gargett, recorded multi-RBI performances in the win.
This series extends the Frogs’ win streak to four games, improving their overall record to 6-5.
The team will face Abilene Christian University at home on Tuesday, March 3, at 6 p.m. where they hope to remain undefeated at home.
