SAPD: Parents run over by daughter’s boyfriend, police on the hunt

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is looking for a suspect accused of running over a couple in their 50’s on the West Side.

Investigators say it all happened during an argument in the 6700 block of Blue Oak Drive. The couple run over were trying to stop the suspect, identified as their daughter’s boyfriend, from taking her car. As the couple opened the doors trying to stop the boyfriend from driving away, police say he put the car in reverse and started backing up. That is when the two were run over by open doors, the woman now hospitalized with a critical head injury and the father getting treated for a broken leg.

SAPD is now looking for a the suspect, but no description was available.
