CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two murdering kidnappers in Ciudad Juarez with colorful nicknames were sentenced to 100 years in prison on Friday.

According to State authorities in Chihuahua, Angel Alberto M., aka “El Diablo,” and Brandon Ivan C.B., aka “El Cuate,” were sentenced after they were found guilty of strangling four people to death and kidnapping two back on Feb. 1, 2024.

Authorities said that on the night of the murders, the two men entered a home on Arquitecto Luis Romero Soto Street, in the Horizontes del Sur neighborhood, killed four men, then kidnapped two others, including one underage victim.

Authorities said that the two took the two kidnapped victims to separate homes approximately three miles away, one in the Salvarcar colonia and the other in the Cerradas del Parque etapa VII neighborhood, where the victim eventually managed to escape.

The two were reportedly arrested days after the kidnapping.

Besides the 100 year sentenced, the two men were also ordered to pay 7,497,800 pesos.
