Being an upperclassman what advice would you give to freshmen on their time at A&M?
“Enjoy the moment and don’t take anything for granted, in college everything goes by so fast.”

What has it been like playing for Texas A&M?
“It’s been a dream come true. This is what I’ve dreamed of since I was 10 years old. Playing collegiate softball in one of the best schools in the SEC is a dream come true.”

Initially what made you commit to A&M back in 2023?

“The coaches, everything they represent and the culture they brought to A&M. They see the team as a family and treat you like one, with Coach Ford viewing it as an opportunity to prepare you for life.”

What has been your favorite softball memory with the Aggies?
“Both times we beat Texas, with the first being the 2023 Super Regionals, where we took a game from them. Second would be when we beat them in the SEC Tournament last year.”

What are some individual and team goals you have for this season?
“Team goals, we want to win a national championship. Individual goals, I want to do whatever role to the best of my ability, making the team better every day.”

Which aspects of your game have improved from your freshman season to this season?
“I’ve improved on the mental side. All the adversity that team and I have gone through has made me stronger.”

What has been your favorite uniform to wear?
“The charcoal grey uniforms, but we didn’t get to wear them much. My second favorite is all black.”

Where is your favorite place to eat?
“Torchy’s, my go-to is the crossroads and the queso is also really good.”

Who on the team is the biggest hype woman?
Maddie Sauni. She’s yelling, dancing and getting excited for you. She is such a vibe.”

Has any person played a significant part in your softball journey?
“My parents have had the biggest impact on my journey. They’re always there for me and come to every home game. My dad played college baseball, so he got me started in softball, being the one to push me since.”

If you could travel to the past or present, where would you go and why?
“Neither I’m good where I’m at. My goal this year was to live in the moment.”

If the team had a cooking show, who would be the best and worst?
DeeDee Baldwin would be the best and worst would probably be Kate Munnerlyn or at least based on war games last year and those stories.”
