(ABC 6 News) – A fighter with ties to Rochester has become the third person to die after a deadly shooting Texas on Sunday.

On Monday, March 2nd, the Austin Police Department confirmed that 30-year-old Jorge Pederson had passed away after being taken off of life support. Pederson was a fighter with Med City Fighting Championships based in Rochester, Minnesota.

MCFC made a post on Facebook the same day to mourn Pederson’s passing. They say Pederson was one of the people on their first card, and remember him as someone who was loved by all their staff.

MCFC has also created fundraiser to raise money for Pederson’s funeral, which is linked in the Facebook post.

The FBI is currently investigating the shooting at a popular bar in Austin, Texas, as a possible act of terrorism. It happened on Sunday, March 1st, just a day after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran.

The other two victims who were killed have been identified as Ryder Harrington and Savitha Shan, both from Texas. Thirteen other people were wounded in the attack.
