MTV vs. YouTube, For Example:
MTV: 80’s kids watched for hours, hoping to maybe see their favorite band.
YouTube: Your favorite band(s), on demand, all day, all night. Wait ‘n hope vs. type it in and watch it. Over and over … for hours. Hell, you can even find a video lesson and learn to actually play it.
Limited Channels
Compared to having only 3 or 4 channels, 80’s kids would have LOVED having a zillion of them. Not to mention more entertainment sources like Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Bonus points for pay per view events, unedited movies and concerts, etc. BONUS bonus points for no POTUS speech takeovers.
