A medical facility expansion in McKinney is one of many new projects filed recently with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Here are five of the most expensive permits filed with TDLR in the past week.

1. BELL Advanced Manufacturing Center

An existing facility in north Fort Worth is receiving renovations for manufacturing purposes, according to a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take less than a year.

Another north Fort Worth facility is receiving interior wall, door, window and electrical and plumbing renovations for an O’Reilly Auto Parts warehouse, according to a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to be completed before the end of the year.

Medical City in McKinney is expanding its acute rehab wing, according to a TDLR filing. Media representative Carrie McClure said the expansion is part of a $142 million project that will bring the hospital’s bed count to a total of 357. The hospital currently offers rehabilitation for sports and work-related injuries, according to its website. The full project is expected to be completed in 2028, per previous reporting.

An existing facility at the Grapevine location of Fellowship Church is receiving renovations to have a worship assembly space, cafe, offices, classrooms and sports courts, according to a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take a year and a half.

An existing 130,000-square-foot facility in Plano will become a Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits office location, according to a TDLR filing. The alcohol distributor currently has its corporate office in Dallas and a distributor location in Farmers Branch. Construction is estimated to take less than a year.
