EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Voters in El Paso County will have an extra hour to cast their ballots after a judge ordered polling places to stay open later than scheduled.
The 383rd District Court granted a temporary injunction extending voting hours at all voting sites across El Paso County by one hour. Under the court’s order, all voting sites will remain open until 8 p.m.
The ruling sets different procedures depending on when voters arrive.

Voters who were not in line before 7 p.m. will be allowed to cast a provisional ballot until 8 p.m.
Despite the extended hours for voting, county election officials encouraged all eligible voters to go to their voting site ahead of 7 p.m.
This comes after there were issues on Tuesday morning with the voting check-in pads.
