Two Central Texas congressman chose not to seek reelection and another ran for attorney general, leaving those seats open.

AUSTIN, Texas — The widely discussed races for U.S. Senate weren’t the only congressional races on the Texas primary ballot. Voters on both sides of the aisle also weighed in on a number of U.S. House races, including who might run to replace U.S. Reps. Michael McCaul, Chip Roy and Lloyd Doggett in the November election.

Here’s a breakdown of the results so far in the seven Central Texas U.S. House races.


District 10

(Represents Travis, Lee counties) 

Incumbent Congressman Michael McCaul chose not to seek reelection, leaving this seat open.

Incumbent Congressman August Pfluger ran unopposed in the Republican primary for District 11.
