(Glenwood, MN)–A mother says her son, a Minnesota-native, has been killed in the Austin, Texas mass shooting. On Sunday, a gunman opened fire outside a crowded Texas bar, killing three people and wounding more than a dozen.
Jorge Munoz Pederson, a 30-year-old man from Glenwood, Minnesota, had recently moved to Austin last month for a new job. His mother, Nancy, told the Minnesota Star Tribune that he died from a gunshot wound.
Jorge graduated from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School in 2013.
