VAN HORN, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — All lanes on I-10 East near Van Horn were temporarily closed Wednesday afternoon after a law enforcement standoff.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, lanes going east on I-10 at mile marker 173 were closed for about two hours, starting at around 11:23 a.m.

TxDOT later reported that the left lane had reopened at around 1:27 p.m.

It is unclear what happened; however, videos shared on the popular social media account @therealfitfamelpaso appear to show several Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety units on the scene, with users commenting that they saw a shot-up car and heard gunshots.
