Margaret Ortega Martinez, 80, passed away on February 24, 2026, in North Richland Hills, Texas. Margaret was a devoted mother and a strong-willed woman who cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her children: Nathaniel D. Martinez, Monica Martinez Dixon, Marcial J. Ortega, Michael Ortega, and Cynthia Molina Vinton. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jose P. Martinez. Margaret found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved watching television shows and movies, spending time cooking for her family, and engaging in puzzle and word search games. Her nurturing spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a great source of wisdom and family history, who shared all she could with her grandchildren. A wake will be held at the family home to honor Margaret’s memory and celebrate her life. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren and those that knew her.
