South by Southwest announced the final wave of speakers and music artists for the 40th iteration of the festival, which starts next week.

The festival announced the slate of speakers and showcase artists in a press release on Wednesday. It included a new keynote and 11 featured sessions for the Innovation, Music, and Film & TV Conferences.

First Amendment founder Jane Fonda will participate in the keynote committee Say It Louder: Artists, Activism, & the First Amendment with comedian W. Kamau Bell and Jessica Weitz of the ACLU.

Andy Cohen, Bob Odenkirk, Demi Moore, Eiza González, Gavin Newsom, Jorma Taccone, Keke Palmer, and Serena Williams are among the speakers added to the Innovation, Music, and Film & TV Conferences.

When it comes to music, Alanis Morissette, Benny the Butcher, Ella Langley, Ingrid Andress, Jack Johnson & Hermanos Gutiérrez, St. Vincent (DJ Set), Ty Dolla $ign, Vic Mensa, and ZHU are among the artists added.

BIGSOUND, HYBE’s Sin Silencio and Sony Music Latin, and Under Armour were added as showcase presenters.

The Comedy Festival will feature Bill Burr’s “The Monday Morning Podcast,” as well as Devon Walker and Alex English’s “Dad.”

Vox Media announced its Official Podcast Stage lineup, which features Jonathan Glazer, Lisa Kudrow, Mark Cuban, Spike Jonze, and more.

“SXSW has always been the ultimate convergence of culture and innovation, but this announcement takes it to a new level,” said SXSW SVP of Programming Greg Rosenbaum. “Between the business moguls, the political giants, and the entertainment legends our team has assembled, the collective star power coming to SXSW might actually be visible from space.”

Rosenbaum continued, “With our new format this year, the collaboration and crossover between our Conferences and Festivals has never been stronger. Get ready for seven action-packed days in Austin.”
