LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Eric Thompson, a game room owner who is suing Lubbock County, was arrested Thursday on a charge of intentionally and knowingly operating a game room in violation of the Texas Government Code and the Lubbock County Game Room Ordinance.
Thompson has since been released. The charge is a Class A misdemeanor, one step below a felony.
Court records indicate the investigation into Thompson began in November. An arrest warrant was signed approximately two weeks ago, and Thompson was taken into custody Thursday.
