The museum takes a deep dive into everything money related.
DALLAS — Everyone loves Mo Money. At least, the hope is that you will once you experience it.
“First and foremost, we wanted to make something fun,” said Houss El Marabti, co-founder of the Museum of Money, or Mo Money for short.
The new immersive museum experience, now open in Dallas, takes a deep dive into everything money.
It’s Instagrammable and educational, insightful and fun.
“Everything about money is always [sighs],” El Marabti said. “We don’t talk about it. We wanted to do the opposite. We wanted to make it fun.”
El Marabti says money and financial literacy can be difficult and frustrating.
Through interactive exhibits and fun games, however, Mo Money hopes guests walk away smarter and smiling.
“You can come and have a little bit of fun or a lot of education,” El Marabti said.
Guests can barter like people used to before paper money or coins, shower themselves in Benjamins, and understand the impact that investing just five dollars a day can make.
“These small little things that I can change in my attitude towards money can make an impact in my life and my future,” said El Marabti.
Guests won’t go home with any actual money, but they will leave rich with perspective.
