SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball team picked up a 12-5 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday, in a matchup that saw sophomore Sabrina Wick go 4-for-4 and a redshirt sophomore Makayla Madrid grand slam. The Roadrunners (11-11) bested the Islanders (5-17) as sophomore Reagan Stoudt (2-4) picked up the win, fanning three over the final five innings of work, while Kendra Winfrey (4-5) was issued the loss. Freshman Brookelynn Meador drove in three runs for the squad on a 2-for-3 afternoon, while freshman Demiree Stafford knocked in two.
