TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — A fire broke out at a home in the Sandy Creek neighborhood late Thursday night, according to authorities.
Travis County Emergency Services District No. 1. responded to the scene and found that the fire appeared to have started from a heat lamp on the back porch before spreading to the rest of the house through the attic.

The first fire engine to arrive on scene knocked down the flames and began salvage and overhaul operations.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The Leander Fire Department and Austin Fire Department assisted Travis County ESD #1 in responding to and controlling the fire.
