EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — When you quickly meet Tina Turner, you realize her name isn’t the only thing that stands out – it’s her story, her heart for people, and her passion for helping others find a home.

Turner first arrived in El Paso in 2005 when her husband was stationed here. After multiple assignments and years of moving, they decided to plant roots in the Sun City for good.

Her journey into real estate happened somewhat by surprise and with a little encouragement from her husband. “I really think this is something that you’ll be good at,” Turner said.

At first, Turner brushed off the idea, but when COVID-19 hit and real estate classes moved online, her husband brought it up again. “The academy is offering zoom classes,” Turner said. “By March of 2021, I had my real estate license.”

Since then, Turner has made a name for herself in El Paso’s real estate scene – not just helping clients get their dream homes, but through her involvement with the Women’s Council of Realtors. “I became a member back in 2021 when I first got into real estate,” Turner said. “Women’s Council has just welcomed me, it has helped me to grow and given me the support that I feel like I’ve needed in order to advance in the real estate industry.”

Turner adds that while it’s called the Women’s Council, everyone is welcome. “We are a group of professional realtors helping to advance women as leaders in the industry and in the community.” Turner said. “You can not spell women without m-e-n, even though its called women’s council, men are welcomed to join and locally we’ve had a men presidents.”

When it comes to helping clients, Turner’s approach is simple: educate, guide, and stay available. “I like to educate and guide my clients through every step of the home buying and selling process.” Turner said. “I give my clients the most current and accurate information so that they can make an informed decision.”

And in a world where missed calls are common, Turner stands out for her accessibility. “Feel free to give me a call,” Turner said. “I do answer my phone as a realtor and I’m always here to help.”

For Tina Turner, real estate is about more than houses – it’s about community, connection, and helping people find a place they can truly call home here in El Paso.
