BYU Basketball concludes regular season play on Saturday night against the visiting Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The BYU Cougars will celebrate four seniors: Richie Saunders, Mihailo Boskovic, Jared McGregor and Keba Keita ahead of the game at the Marriott Center. BYU has a 20-10 overall record after dropping its last 3 consecutive games. They are 8-9 in the Big 12, tied with West Virginia. BYU was on the road last week and lost at West Virginia and then at Cincinnati. The more recent game was played on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Bearcats with the final score being 90-68.

Texas Tech has been getting along okay without JT Toppin, but did have a setback on its home court against TCU on Tuesday. The final score was 73-65. The Red Raiders are 22-8 on the year and third in the Big 12 with a 12-5 record.

The Cougars and Red Raiders met once this season on Jan. 17 in Lubbock. Texas Tech beat BYU by a final score of 84-71. Texas Tech was no. 15 at the time, BYU no. 11. BYU has yet to beat Texas Tech since joining the Big 12, and actually has not won against them since 1993. The teams have met eight times in the past with Texas Tech having the 5-3 edge.
