Four people displaced after Southeast Austin house fire

AUSTIN, Texas — Four people were displaced after Travis County Fire Rescue and Austin Fire units responded to a structure fire in Southeast Austin Saturday afternoon.

Travis County Fire Rescue said around 2:30 p.m. that they were responding to a home in the 5900 block of Zachary Scott St. that was reportedly struck by lightning.

The fire was brought under control and extinguished with no injuries reported. Four people were displaced so electrical repairs could be made to the home.
