Dallas Police responded to the scene near the 3400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way and found a man had been shot. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

DALLAS — One person died after a shooting in southern Dallas, police said. 

Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. March 7 in the 3400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way in Dallas, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release. 

Dallas police responded to the shooting call Saturday night and found a man had been shot. 

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel transported the man to a local hospital, where he died, police said. Police are still investigating the shooting.
