Several dogs died in a house fire on Sunday morning, Fort Worth firefighters said. Evidence of hoarding was found inside the home.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A home in northern Fort Worth caught fire on Sunday morning, causing several dogs to die in the home, officials said.Â
Firefighters responded around 8 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, in the 3200 block of Grover Avenue in northern Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Police Department said in a press release. The fire was spotted in the back of the house and quickly extinguished, officials said.Â
No one was injured, but several dogs died inside the house, the department said. The home was very cluttered and showed evidence of hoarding, officials said.Â
The cause of the fire is under investigation, the release states.Â
