One resident is being helped due to damages caused by the fire, which took place early Sunday afternoon.
DALLAS — Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to a house fire Sunday afternoon after passing bicyclists reported seeing smoke showing from a home in the 5700 block of Santa Fe Avenue.Â
As DFR firefighters arrived, officials say they moved in quickly and brought the fire under control. No one had to be saved and no injuries were reported.Â
It’s unclear if anyone was in the house at the time of the fire, DFR says, but the American Red Cross were called to help with the needs of one person who is said to have lived at the home.
DFR is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
