Children in the Fort Worth area can receive free meals next week during the Fort Worth Independent School District’s spring break.
The district, in an effort to combat food insecurity, is hosting eight school sites on March 17-19 where meals will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the district announced on Monday.
The meals will be available to children 18 years old and younger, and they are not required to be Fort Worth ISD students to receive lunch. The meals must be eaten on-site.
The district’s spring break spans from March 16-20.
The meals will be served at the following campuses:
Western Hills Elementary: 2805 Laredo DriveClifford Davis Elementary: 4300 Campus DriveDiamond Hill Elementary: 2000 Dewey St.Alice Contreras Elementary: 4100 Lubbock Ave.Christene C.
