The Dallas Stars have been hard to beat recently.

Dallas (39-14-10, 2nd in the Central Division) enters Tuesday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights (29-21-14, 2nd in the Pacific Division) on a 12-game point streak, including 11 wins and just one overtime loss to the league-best Avalanche.

They look to continue that streak against a Vegas team looking to hang on to its second-place spot in the Pacific Division.

Can Mavrik Bourque stay hot?

The young forward had two points in Dallas’ overtime victory over the Chicago Blackhawks last time out. He tallied one goal and one assist in that contest and enters Tuesday with a bit of a hot streak against Vegas.

Bourque has scored three goals in his last two games against the Golden Knights, including two in the meeting between the two teams earlier this season. He has four goals in four career games against Vegas.

Keep an eye on Mitch Marner

Vegas’ big offseason acquisition has consistently been a thorn in the Stars’ side. Across 17 career games against Dallas, Marner has tallied 23 points (five goals, 18 assists). He enters Tuesday with a six-game point streak against the Stars, scoring seven points (3-4—7).

Marner has been good for the Golden Knights in his first season in Nevada. He has 65 points (18 goals, 47 assists) in 63 games, good for second-best on the team behind Jack Eichel (71 points).
