FORT WORTH – Mrs. Lucille M. Patterson passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 98. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home, 3344 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park. She was born on December 24, 1927, to the late Alec Penny and Nettie Ione Penny. She was a graduate of Hamlin High School. Lucille was self-employed at Ridglea Radio and TV and was also a devoted homemaker who cared deeply for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lipham and husband Wayne Lipham; her grandchildren, Tiffany Chesnut, Marla Chesnut, and Paul Chesnut; her great-grandchild, Treyton Chesnut; and four nieces and one nephew. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her brothers, Lewie Penny, Tiny Abraham, and Tom Penny; her sister, Elouise Smart; her son, W.T. Simonton; her first husband, Ernest Simonton; and her second husband, Noble Patterson. Lucille will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family. Her love and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
