SAN ANTONIO – A couple who were arrested for the armed robbery of a restaurant will spend decades behind bars.

On Friday, the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney Nicole S. Bishop announced the sentencing of 34-year-old Kenneth Courtney Davis and 35-year-old Victoria Jan McDonald.

Davis pleaded guilty to Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree Felony, with a special finding for the use of a deadly weapon in the commission of the robbery. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison

McDonald was found guilty of the same charge and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

According to court records, on Dec. 29, 2024, Boerne Police, Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Texas DPS State Troopers responded to calls of an armed robbery near the corner of South Main Street and Christus Parkway.

Witnesses reported that a male had pointed a handgun at employees, while a woman with pink hair acted as a lookout near the door.

The couple fled the scene in a white Mitsubishi with $120 in cash and rolled coins.

Within three hours, officers found the Mitsubishi, containing two suspects matching the description of the suspects, arriving at a local apartment complex.

A search of the SUV yielded multiple BB Guns, with one matching the description of the firearm used in the robbery.

The two suspects were allegedly connected to at least two other armed robberies in the San Antonio area.

Both suspects will spend the duration of their sentences in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
