AUSTIN, Texas — More than a century after the Titanic sank into the icy waters of the North Atlantic, the ship’s story is sailing into Austin.

Titanic: The Human Story will make its United States debut on April 10, 2026, bringing a deeply personal and immersive look at one of history’s most famous tragedies.

Created by award-winning exhibition producer Musealia and presented by Fever, the experience goes beyond the disaster itself.

Instead of focusing solely on the sinking, the exhibition highlights the lives of the passengers and crew aboard during the ship’s maiden and final voyages.

The exhibit features more than 200 original artifacts, including handwritten letters, personal photographs, and keepsakes belonging to those aboard the Titanic. .

Many of these items have never been displayed in the United States before.

Curated alongside renowned Titanic historian Claes-Göran Wetterholm, the exhibition draws on more than 40 years of research to bring historical accuracy and emotional depth to the experience.

Visitors will move through a chronological journey beginning in 1912, following the events leading up to and during the tragic night of April 14.

A dynamic audio guide enhances the exhibit with narration, music, and sound effects designed to transport guests back in time.

Guests can also walk through life-size recreations of select ship interiors, offering a glimpse into daily life aboard the “unsinkable” vessel.

Organizers say the experience is designed for all ages and aims to explore the truths, myths, and enduring fascination surrounding the Titanic while honoring the 1,496 lives lost.

The exhibition runs approximately 80 to 90 minutes.
