3 people were transported with critical injuries after a multi-vehicle accident near the intersection of Weber and McArdle on Tuesday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A multi-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Weber and McArdle has sent three people to the hospital with critical injuries, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Details are extremely limited. According to CCPD Public Information Officer Madeline Commons, three people were injured in the crash and transported to a local medical facility. 

She said investigators are currently on scene working to determine the cause. 

Traffic is expected to be backed up in the area. Avoid it if possible.
