Fort Worth is adding to its ledger of financial services employment as Mercedes-Benz Financial Services announced it will add more than 120 jobs at its headquarters in far north Fort Worth by this summer.

Team members from other U.S. Mercedes-Benz locations will be relocating to the Fort Worth offices through August 2026, in addition to local hires for new and open roles.

“We’re proud that Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is adding new jobs here in Fort Worth,” said Robert Allen, president of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership in a news release. “These positions strengthen our local economy and build on Fort Worth’s reputation as a great place for business, talent and growth in the financial services industry.”

Following a corporate reorganization earlier this year, the Fort Worth location of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services at 14362 Heritage Parkway in the AllianceTexas development became the U.S. headquarters for the Mercedes-Benz AG subsidiary. Mercedes-Benz Financial Services offers financing, leasing and insurance services for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Previously operating under the name Daimler Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services has had operations in the area since 2007. The company did not say how many employees currently work at its 200,000-square-foot office, but the company reported 900 workers when they announced the new building in 2017.

“Mercedes-Benz Financial Services’ growth at AllianceTexas reflects the depth of the region’s workforce and collaborative partnerships,” said Steve Aldrich, senior vice president of Hillwood in a news release.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metro area employed more than 386,000 professionals in financial activities as of mid-2025, placing it among the top regions nationally for financial services employment.

While New York City remains the largest market for financial services employment overall, the Dallas-Fort Worth area is ranked second, according to some surveys. While Dallas and Collin County are home to many of the jobs, Fort Worth and Tarrant County can tout major employers like Charles Schwab, Fidelity and GM Financial, along with the Mercedes-Benz subsidiary.

In addition to the launch of the so-called Y’all Street — with the independent Texas Stock Exchange and beefed-up Texas-based operations for the Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange — the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services announcement further reinforces the area’s status as a national financial hub.
