Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 21900 block of Bronze Leaf Drive in reference to a bomb threat where the caller stated he planned to detonate explosive devices and conduct a mass shooting.
Upon arrival Jeremiah Chavez was detained on scene and upon a search of the residence several rounds of ammunition, an AR style rife, and bomb making components were located inside the residence.
When authorities got to the home, they found a rifle, a lot of ammunition, and bomb-making components, along with High-performance enamel, Liquid chlorinator, All-purpose propane, and Electric batteries of an explosive weapon.
“Jeremiah Chavez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Components of explosives. At this time his bond and court information has not been set.” – Constable Mark Herman
