The Dallas Cowboys are suddenly very full at defensive tackle. Consider the events of the last year. Prior to free agency beginning in 2025, the Cowboys struck a long-term deal with Osa Odighizuwa.
Osa Odighizuwa may wind up getting traded
A little while after the Otito signing was reported a report emerged surrounding the longest-tenured name we have discussed: Odighizuwa. According to Jonathan Jones, teams are monitoring Odighizuwa and believe he can had by way of trade.
You can certainly argue that trading a player away a year after giving him a new deal is not exactly how you want that to go, but as noted a lot has changed. There is now a surprlus.
Odighizuwa was actually a part of the Micah Parsons draft class (2021) and is the last player remaining from it. A trade makes sense. Obviously the matter at hand is hypothetical compensation. Perhaps the Cowboys could flip him to fill one of their remaining needs like linebacker or cornerback.
Should the Cowboys trade Osa Odhigizuwa? Make your case.
