The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former Dallas Cowboys center/guard Brock Hoffman, per Jordan Schultz. It’s a one year deal worth $2.5 million.

Hoffman played under Mike McCarthy from 2022-24, and has started 16 games in his career. The Steelers lost left guard Isaac Seumalo to the Arizona Cardinals, and their offensive line depth was lacking heading into the new league year. At worst, the Steelers have another veteran interior offensive lineman on their roster.

Update: Jordan Schultz has since deleted his report on Hoffman joining the Steelers, and a deal is not imminent, per Alan Saunders of Steelers Now.

“The Steelers have not agreed to a deal with Cowboys C/G Brock Hoffman, per source, despite other reports,” Saunders reports on X. “Doesn’t sound like it’s impossible, but also nothing imminent.”

We apologize for any confusion.
