LUBBOCK, Texas — As a part of its Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities program, Atmos Energy will be hosting a reading event at Lubbock ISD’s Bean Elementary School on Wednesday, March 11.

Employees from Atmos will read to Pre-K and Kindergarten students from 10:15 until 11:30 a.m. In addition, families will receive backpacks full of items including a new book for parents to give to their students. Lubbock Mayor Mark McBrayer will also be in attendance alongside city councilmember Gordan Harris.
