To combat traffic and parking, DART has added several services to the Red and Orange lines for Saturday, March 14, in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day weekend traffic.
The city expects more than 90,000 attendees at this weekend’s festivities with several road closures to follow.
Red Line and Orange Line services, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., running routes from the city of Plano to Mockingbird, Lovers and Park lanes stations will be added. Riders coming from Carrollton, Farmers Branch and Dallas can ride the Green Line and transfer to either the Red or Orange lines in downtown Dallas.
The Red and Orange lines will have three-car trains, and the Green and Blue lines will have two-car trains.
