Cause of Fort Worth house fire under investigation, police say

A house caught fire overnight on Dilworth Street in Fort Worth, officials said. Two people and four dogs were able to escape.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fire officials are investigating the cause of a house fire, the Fort Worth Fire Department said. 

The fire was reported around 11:57 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, on Dilworth Street in Fort Worth, fire officials said. 

Two people and four dogs were in the home at the time of the fire and the occupants were able to escape from their home, according to the department. 

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation, officials said.
