Crash investigators said a black Tesla Cybertruck was westbound on Post Oak Place when it crashed into a Buick LaCrosse that had just left a southbound-facing stop sign on Briar Hollow Lane.

Four women were in the Buick. The driver and front passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The two back passengers were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 40-year-old man who was driving the Tesla stayed at the scene, didn’t show signs of intoxication, was questioned, then released, according to police.
