Multiple homes catch fire on Naples Street, one man sent to the hospital

According to CCFD Officials, two homes on Naples St. caught fire and one person was sent to a local medical facility. Investigators are working to determine cause.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two homes on Naples Street caught fire on Wednesday and one person was transported to a local medical facility according to the Corpus Christi Fire Department. 

CCFD officials told 3NEWS on Wednesday that a homeowner was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.  No word yet on the severity of their injuries.  

CCFD investigators are on scene working to determine the cause.
