It’s been a busy Wednesday for the Dallas Cowboys on the trade front.
Dallas is trading defensive tackle Solomon Thomas to the Tennessee Titans, the Cowboys announced. The teams are also swapping seventh-round draft picks as part of the trade. Dallas receives pick No. 218 in next month’s draft, while Tennessee receives the 225th selection.
Thomas spent just one season in Dallas. The Cowboys originally signed the veteran defensive lineman to a two-year deal ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Thomas, a Coppell product, appeared in 16 games for the Cowboys last season. He posted 27 total tackles, three tackles for loss and two quarterback hits.
The move to Tennessee means Thomas will reunite with Robert Saleh and Aaron Whitecotton. Saleh, Tennessee’s head coach, worked with Thomas during his stint with the New York Jets. Whitecotton, now the run game coordinator/defensive line coach, worked with Thomas in Dallas and New York.
The Thomas trade was the second defensive line-related move Dallas made on Wednesday. The Cowboys are also sending Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2026 third-round draft pick.
