AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in gathering information about an aggravated assault that occurred early Sunday morning at Club 420.

Officers responded to a shooting report at 3:36 a.m. on March 1, 2026, at the club located at 501 Neches Street. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. The officers provided aid until Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a press release from the department.

The preliminary investigation suggests that a fight broke out inside the club, during which an unknown individual fired at least one shot, striking the victim. No suspect has been identified or arrested in connection with the incident.

Detectives believe there may be more witnesses and are encouraging anyone with photos, videos, or other potential evidence to share them with the Austin Police Department. Information can be submitted by contacting the Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-4429 or anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477.
