SAN ANTONIO – A 22-year-old man is facing charges after authorities say he secretly took photos of women and teen shoppers at a business in northeast Bexar County.

Deputies were called to a store along North Foster Road Tuesday after management reported a suspicious man walking through aisles and taking photos of female customers.

A deputy then saw Dominic Espinoza actively taking a picture of a young teen from a low angle. Witnesses told deputies Espinoza was holding his phone at a low upward angle and appeared to be taking pictures of females from behind without their consent.

The sheriff’s office said Espinoza initially denied his actions, but store surveillance footage captured how he was positioning his cellphone.

Espinoza is charged with invasive visual recording.
