SAN ANTONIO — A 19-year-old man was found shot to death inside a Northeast Side apartment early Wednesday morning, hours after gunfire was first reported at the same location.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were initially called to the 4800 block of Goldfield Drive around 9 p.m. Tuesday after a resident reported hearing multiple gunshots. The caller told authorities that bullets passed through her apartment, striking windows and walls. She was not injured, and no suspect was found at that time.

Just before 7 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called back to the same location for reports of a shooting in progress. When they arrived, they observed bullet holes on the exterior of the apartment.

Inside, officers found a 19-year-old man lying unresponsive on the living room floor. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
