SAN ANTONIO – The southbound lanes of I-35 are closed near Somerset Rd. on Thursday morning due to a crash.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, an 18-wheeler’s tire popped, causing it to lose control. The truck swerved into a grassy median and hit an overpass sign on the main lanes of I-35.
No major injuries were reported. The highway should reopen mid-afternoon.
