2. Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair

This annual event is a must for fans of Tejano music, with more than 100 Tejano and conjunto acts playing on multiple stages. March 12-15, Hemisfair, 434 S. Alamo St.

 

3. Spurs Home Games

Coming off of a five-game winning streak, you have two chances to cheer on the silver and black this weekend at Frost Bank Center. The team will face off with the Denver Nuggets Thursday night and the Charlotte Hornets Saturday afternoon. 7 p.m. March 12; 2:30 p.m. March 14, 1 Frost Bank Center Drive

 

4. Second Thursday at the McNay

The McNay Art Museum’s popular Second Thursday series is back this month celebrating exhibit “Angelica Raquel: Mystic Threads.” In addition to enjoying free museum admission from 4 to 9 p.m., the event features live music, creative activities, food trucks and drinks. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Pets on a leash are welcome. 6-9 p.m. March 12, 6000 N. New Braunfels Ave.

 

5. Bud Light St. Patrick’s River Parades & Celebration

Get an early start on St. Patrick’s Day with a weekend of events that include dyeing the San Antonio River green, entertainment, a fashion show for pups and floating parades. There will be bagpipes. March 14-15, La Villita Historic Village, River Walk and Museum Reach

 

6. 2026 CAM Perennial: “The Things We Carry”

Contemporary Art Month’s Perennial Exhibition places artists from around Texas and the Southwest in artist-run spaces across San Antonio. This weekend marks the opening receptions for four of the eight exhibiting artists — Daniela Oliver de Portillo & Brenda Melgoza Ciardiello at Casa Pink and Yuliya Lanina & Matt Rebholz at Rojo Gallery. “The Things We Carry: Un Destino, una Vida,” 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 14, Casa Pink, 144 Zapata St.; “The Things We Carry: We’ve Known Each Other for Centuries,” 7-10 p.m. March 14, Rojo Gallery, 1906 S. Flores St.

 

7. Fest of Tails: Dog and Kite Festival

The San Antonio Parks Foundation’s annual dog and kite festival returns this Saturday. Pups of all sizes are welcome and there’s even a pooch parade and St. Patrick’s Day costume contest. Bring chairs to enjoy the large kite displays, or pack your own kite to participate. Enjoy live music, vendors, plant giveaways and more. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 14, McAllister Park (near Dog Park), 13102 Jones Maltsberger Road

 

8. Il Divo By Candlelight

Formed in 2004, the multinational classical crossover artists have drawn sold-out crowds worldwide. This intimate concert experience will take audiences on a journey through two decades of romance, heartache and joy, weaving their greatest musical triumphs into an unforgettable evening. They will be joined by Phoenix-based string trio Simply Three, who will also open the shows. 8 p.m. March 15, Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, 100 Auditorium Circle
