Residents can expect a three-day weekend of adrenaline as the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington takes over the Arlington Entertainment District.

A grand prix is a high-level racing competition. Arlington’s IndyCar race is the third of 18 races that will determine the NTT IndyCar Series championship winner. The 2.73-mile, 14-turn track will circle near AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium. The track includes a split-pit lane and a technical horseshoe section next to AT&T Stadium.

Aside from the races, residents can enjoy the Good Ranchers Concert Series, featuring rock band All Time Low and country-rock band Giovannie and the Hired Guns on Friday, and singer-rapper T-Pain and musician Disco Lines on Sunday.
