AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police Department detectives are searching for three young suspects involved in an auto theft and subsequent credit card fraud.

On February 27, 2026, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from the block of 11300 Bachman Dr., according to a press release from the Austin Police Department. The victim reported that their vehicle, last seen parked at the location the previous night, was taken along with a purse containing credit cards and important documents. Surveillance footage captured three suspects using the stolen credit cards at a gas station on 1800 Dessau Rd.

The suspects are described as follows: Suspect #1 is a Black male, approximately 16-18 years old, with a thin build, last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and white Nike shoes. Suspect #2 is a White male, approximately 16-18 years old, with a thin build, last seen wearing a green beanie, black hoodie, and blue jeans. Suspect #3 is an unidentified male with a thin build, last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black jeans, and black shoes.
