FORT WORTH, Texas – Fort Worth police are investigating an “officer-involved incident” involving a death near a Highway 287 overpass.

What we know:

So far, police have only confirmed that it happened around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday near Hwy. 287 and E. Maddox Avenue. They called it an “officer-involved incident.”

The Fort Worth Fire Department confirmed one person is deceased at the scene.

What we don’t know:

Police have not yet said who the deceased person is or whether they were wanted for a crime.

There’s also no word on how they died.
