FORT WORTH – Beverly Anne Ford passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the age of 80. Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Breyley Suite at Mount Olivet. Beverly was born on August 18,1945 in, Clinton, Missouri. Her family moved to Fort Worth, Texas while she was still a small child. She graduated from Poly High School in Fort Worth in 1963. After graduation she married and began raising a family and eventually moved back to Missouri. A few years later she and her family returned to Texas where Beverly earned her realtor’s license and started her real estate career. When the housing market got slow Beverly worked for The Fort Worth Star Telegram to supplement her income. After many years with the Star Telegram she went back to selling real estate full-time. Beverly enjoyed the real estate business and was dedicated, tenacious and hard working. During her career she built a loyal client base and made many friends. Beverly cherished spending time with her family, and also loved traveling and antiquing. She often said that Alcoholics Anonymous saved her life, and she remained a proud and active member with more than 45 years of sobriety. She is preceded in death by her mother, Persis Beldin; and her grandson, Seth McDonald. Beverly is survived by her children, Darren McDonald, Melisa Kidwell, Adina Simpson, and Todd Currens; her grandchildren, Ashley Weatherred, Jessica Loya, Alexis Simpson, Casey Kidwell, Tanner Kidwell, Macey McDonald, Sean Galloway, Travis Galloway, Austin Galloway, and Julie Barber; seven great-grandchildren; and ex daughter-in-law, friend, and caregiver, Linda McDonald-Goss.
