CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A blood drive is taking place today at our KIII-TV studios on SPID, giving residents a chance to save lives. 

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with 3NEWS team on site to assist donors.

The Coastal Bend Blood says a single blood donation can help save up to three lives, and their goal for today is 100 donations.
