AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin airport is asking travelers to arrive up to three hours early for their flights today, this as TSA continues to struggle under the current partial government shutdown.

AUS expecting over 35,000 passengers to depart as Spring Break gets underway.

Departing passengers are asked to arrive to the airport 2.5 to 3 hours early and to be prepared for lines at TSA, airline ticket counters, and more.

The airport also says that additional staff will be on-site to help.
